SERVICES

Psychotherapy and Play Therapy for Children, Teens and Adults

Services

Child and Teen Therapy Services

The first, most fluent language of children is play. We are proud to offer clinically-sound play therapy–drawing from several different evidence-based models. For older children, play therapy evolves into other playful, developmentally appropriate activities, conversations, and strategies. We are proud to welcome gender diverse children and to provide LGBTQ+ affirming services.

Adult Therapy Services

Find a listening ear here with us, we want to hear your story. Adult therapy services with CCT provide a comfortable and safe environment for you to explore your emotional health and history. Adults who have tried traditional talk therapy in the past often find new levels of insight, empowerment and hope at CCT.

LGBTQ+ Affirming Care

We are proud to offer deeply knowledgeable, warm, and affirming care for LGBTQ+ folks and their families. This includes supporting clients of all ages with their gender identity and expression, transitions, coming out, relationship issues, family acceptance, self-care and shame, and generally navigating the world as a LGBTQ+/queer person or family.

TESTIMONIALS

From The Heart

Kate F.

Amy will forever have a special place in our hearts for the care she has provided our child. Navigating mental health with a tweenager can be tricky but Amy's approach, warm personality, and sense of humor helped our kiddos to feel at ease from the start Our journey is not over, but we are so thankful for the progress and growth we have seen since our kiddo has engaged in treatment with Carroll Creative Therapy.”

Amy is a caring and well versed therapist. She has the ability to provide for her clients a safe space that allows for growth, reflection, accessing knowledge, and an organic style during sessions. Amy has an impeccable memory which provides a comfort and ease for me each week. Finally, Amy designs our sessions based on my needs each week, but also channels thought-processes, prior conversations, and techniques, which provides an immense amount of space for me to grow and learn.

I can’t express enough gratitude towards (Amy) for the honesty, compassion, and patience she’s shown me. Her support has helped me process some things I’d long avoided. She provides space for me to be myself which has helped me to build better security and conviction in my personal identity outside of our sessions. I am proud of the growth I’ve made since I started seeing her and would highly recommend her to anyone needing counseling
